Oneflare has closed. Here's where tradies get leads now.
Oneflare was retired on 30 June 2026 and its website now sends people to Airtasker. If Oneflare was one of your lead sources, that channel has gone. Here is what changed, and the options for getting leads now.
What happened to Oneflare
- Oneflare was retired on 30 June 2026 (Oneflare).
- Automatic renewals were switched off from 1 June 2026, and existing credits could be used until the closure.
- The Oneflare website and app now redirect to Airtasker, which owned Oneflare (Airtasker).
- Airtasker works differently: it does not sell leads to tradies the way Oneflare did.
Oneflare for business: what tradies lose
Businesses on Oneflare paid through subscriptions and credits to reach customers posting jobs. Both ended with the closure, so any tradie who relied on Oneflare for business needs a new lead source. If you were weighing up Oneflare vs hipages, the choice is now between hipages, ServiceSeeking, Airtasker, your own marketing, or exclusive leads.
Your options now
Each works differently. The right one depends on how many jobs you want, how much competition you will put up with, and whether you want a monthly bill.
hipages
A monthly plan from $139 to $649 + GST, with credits to accept job leads. Each lead goes to up to 3 businesses. See the full comparison.
ServiceSeeking
A monthly membership that lets you quote on jobs customers post.
Airtasker
Where Oneflare now redirects. You quote on tasks people post and Airtasker takes a fee on work you complete, rather than selling leads.
Google Business Profile
Free, and worth doing anyway. It takes time to build reviews and rank in the map results.
Your own website and ads
You own the result, but agency fees and ad spend usually start before the first lead arrives.
TradieBuddy exclusive territories
One contractor per trade per area. No monthly fee: you pay a set price per real lead, and your first 2 leads are free.
How TradieBuddy is different
- One contractor per trade per area: the lead is yours alone
- No monthly fee: a quiet week costs nothing
- Pay a set price per real lead, and spam is never billed
- Your first 2 leads free, and no lock-in contract
Oneflare and Airtasker details from their own help pages, checked 5 November 2026. TradieBuddy is not affiliated with Oneflare, Airtasker, hipages or ServiceSeeking.
Try 2 leads free
No monthly fee. One contractor per trade per area. Your first 2 leads cost nothing.
